HOW WE WORK
We meet with you at your property or hold a teams meeting to discuss your needs. Once we have the information needed we put together a fee proposal for approval.
Once appointed, we start work on our seven phase design process, these stages are in line with the Royal institute of British architects.
TAKING THE BRIEF
A more in-depth discussion to fully explore the brief. We will discuss existing floor plans and explore your personal style, vision and lifestyle needs.
STAGE TWO
CONCEPT
We select and build a catalogue of images that are in line with the style of the home and the brief. This forms a digital mood board for each significant room to give a real idea of the 'look and feel'. As you collectively look at the rooms you can see the flow of design ideas and the connections between the spaces.
Your house plans are added to our 3D modelling software where we are able to show you the optimum layout for your space. Furniture layouts are designed for optimum use and joinery locations are identified with ideas for initial design.
STAGE THREE
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Once concept has been agreed and signed off we develop the designs in further detail. This involves using AutoCad which is a more accurate (to the nearest mm) 2D computer generated designs. This is necessary for accuracy on site and for the lighting and furniture plans. Alongside this work we will build sample boards showing colours, tile choices, finishes, carpet and joinery specifications. At this stage we also decide on hard finishes and lighting.
STAGE FOUR
TECHNICAL DESIGN
Once all the designs in stage three are signed off we prep all the information required for site. This involves finalising design details and writing all the schedules with clear instruction. All lighting positions are placed to the nearest mm and drawn on plan for the contractors to follow.
STAGE FIVE
FF&E
Co-ordination and planning for goods. Strategic steps are taken to make sure everything required for site send for your move in date is ready at the right time.
