Isla James Interiors is an Interior Architecture and Interior Design Practice. Jo Calver, the founder and creative director, leads the team from their design studio in Pangbourne, Berkshire. The busy team remain focused on bringing out the very best qualities from the projects, offering innovative and creative ideas and thinking out of the box.
IJI offers a partial design service for smaller projects and lighting projects through to full turnkey design services.

With a passion for lighting and architecture, Jo has been working on interior projects for the last 13 years. After studying Interior Design at KLC School of design and returning from living in Germany for two years, Jo decided to set up Isla James Interiors in 2015. Since then the IJI team has been growing rapidly. Their portfolio is national and ranges from large high end residential homes to commercial projects such as restaurants and hotels.
"Every project is different. We are an approachable and friendly team. Our focus is on understanding the project and getting the very best from the bones and fabric of the building. We strive to create a home or space that not only looks amazing but invites you in with soft lighting in just the right places while the design still remains practical for every day life."
IJI believe that designing the interiors and lighting together gives their projects an advantage.
